If you plan to visit France this place is a perfect stop to stay and enjoy French country side with the city of Boudreaux just round the corner. I stayed here for three nights and came to celebrate my birthday and I must admit, it exceeded my expectations. The location is just perfect to enjoy the peace and quiet however it’s easy to get to nearby restaurants, wine shops and other beautiful towns and villages with a great architecture and food where you can spend hours with family and friends, having the best time. The food provided in the Villa Aestival was absolutely delicious with home made bread and cinnamon buns every single morning. The room I stayed in was specious with a beautiful view of the garden and the most comfortable bed. Aleks and Jimmy are great hosts and they make sure you have everything you need to enjoy your stay. This little gem in the South of Bordeaux is amazing, My husband and I had such an incredible stay, we have already booked for next year!! We came during the heatwave and were able to sit by the little stream running through the garden and later on cooled down in the swimming pool. Aleks is an amazing Chef, he made such incredible home made food during our stay, everything is local and tastes sublime. He even catered for my vegetarian husband which can be very tricky in France. The house is amazing and the bedroom was spectacular. We slept in an air-con room, cocooned in a very comfy and large bed facing the garden. Aleks and Jimmy are wonderful hosts and couldn't have been more welcoming. Thank you both for such a unique and wonderful stay. The journey to Villa Aestival was sublime, the landscape draped in pine forests, with local fauna such as wild boars, deer and rabbits running amok. The senses were already tantalising with excitement. Then, the gates to the Villa opened, and the eyes were met with grandeur, beauty and green backdrops of open gardens with a bubbling creek, adding to the French cozy countryside feeling. The villa was decorated minimally with touches of traditional and modern styles resulting in timeless meandering wherever you went. My room at the top of the house boasted views of the gardens and the creek, and I could smell the homemade bread and coffee being made downstairs by the consummate host Aleks, every morning. His knowledge and expertise in baking and cooking adds to the sensation. Any question you have about the history and culture of the produce and surroundings, he will have an answer. The journey is very easily achieved by the taxi provider used at Villa Aestival, one hour away from Bordeaux airport. I cannot wait to book again for next year. Si a la verdad este castillo me pareció extremadamente espectacular,las habitaciones son súper increíbles,grandes y las baños son magnífico.Hablemos del increíble jardín,me dicen los dueños que la primavera se disfruta mucho y a la verdad le doy un 👍porq en este tiempo me pareció genial,bueno estas personas son tan agradable que con ellos me sentí en familia,hay una paz en su Castillo super buena,que era lo que estaba buscando. En tant que organisateur d'une rando vélo avec un arrêt au Domaine de la Hure, j'ai pu en mettre plein la vue à mes invités :-)  Nous avons été accueilli par la propriétaire avec le sourire.  Les lieux sont parfaits (propreté, décoration et espace). Si j'ai l'occasion de refaire une randonnée dans le coin, j'organiserai le passage par ce Domaine. Très bonne étape en randonnée à vélo. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par la propriétaire des lieux. Un grand garage pour nos vélos. Et pour nous une magnifique demeure où les moderne et l’ancien se côtoient avec bonheur. Le repas était parfait ! Le petit déjeuner excellent ! Les chambres sont spacieuses et très confortables.
